EVOC Provider Course – Emergency Vehicle Operator Training
The EVOC Provider Course prepares EMS, Fire, Rescue, and public safety personnel to safely operate ambulances and other emergency vehicles under both routine and emergency conditions. This course focuses on defensive driving, collision avoidance, risk management, and legal responsibilities associated with emergency vehicle operation. Training combines classroom instruction with hands-on driving skills evaluation, ensuring students gain the judgment, control, and decision-making ability required for real-world response environments.
This course is taught as a hybrid class, you have an online assignment and a practical driving assignment. The online course and course requirements are generally sent out on Monday before the class. The practical assignment is on the dates as advertised below.
This course meets Florida’s 16 hour EVOC training requirements for emergency vehicle operators and is based on the nationally recognized U.S. DOT Emergency Vehicle Operator Course standards.
When you register for this course, you should receive a receipt via email. Once your course registration is processed you will receive course login information along with course requirements.
